How do I remove GST from an inclusive price?

You cannot simply subtract the rate percentage. To extract GST from a gross amount, divide by (1 + rate). The calculator handles this automatically when you choose the inclusive option.

What is the difference between GST-exclusive and GST-inclusive?

Exclusive means GST is added on top of the amount you enter. Inclusive means the amount you enter already contains GST, and the tool breaks out the tax portion.
